Our client are a leading global Tier 1 main contractor who are currently seeking an ambitious and experienced Project Manager to oversee a £24million new build project in Dudley. This exciting new project will be invaluable to the local community and surrounding area and pivotal for established a transport base both for local authority transport as well as private use. As the leading No1 for this project you will be asked to undertake the following responsibilities and duties: • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of Senior Site Managers, providing guidance, support, and ensuring they deliver on their responsibilities effectively. • Project Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the project, ensuring it progresses on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. • Work with the Contracts Manager, to whom you will report to helping drive the project forward to its conclusion. • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. • New Build Experience: Apply your extensive knowledge and experience in new build commercial projects to ensure successful delivery of each phase, anticipating and mitigating potential risks. To be considered for this position you must have the following experience: • Proven track record in managing large-scale new build commercial projects, ideally within a Tier 1 main contractor environment. • Demonstrable ability to lead teams effectively and manage complex construction projects with multiple phases. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders at all levels. • Qualifications: Relevant construction or project management qualifications (e.g., degree in Construction Management, CIOB, RICS). Preferred but not essential.
