Facilities Manager Wanted - 6 Month Temporary to Permanent Position Your new company A leading logistics and storage company based in the Lancashire region is recruiting a facilities manager on a temporary basis, with the possibility to go permanent. They are seeking an experienced FM to manage the on-site compliance, health and safety, and day-to-day management of the facility. The primary function of this role is to ensure the working environment, and the wider company portfolio is kept safe, efficient, and most importantly compliant. The core duties will involve: - Oversee all maintenance and repairs on company property - Manage the contractors on site performing specialist work - Inspect contractors work post completion - Develop the compliance and H&S strategy - Implement procedures to improve compliance - Manage the Facilities Management budget - Supervise the team of on-site facilities staff - Oversee office relocation projects What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will require: - Significant experience in Facilities Management and excellent knowledge of compliance - Technical knowledge of HVAC, M&E, fire safety, asbestos and legionella - People management experience - IOSH/NEBOSH qualification - Driving Licence What you'll get in return - 6-month temporary contract, with possibility to go permanent - Circa £50k salary - Additional company benefits package What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
