Client: Our client is a nationally renowned M&E Contractor who turnover in excess of £250M. With numerous offices throughout the country their client base ranges from end users to large main contractors, including: Kier, Morgan Sindall, Wates and Sir Robert McAlpine. They specialise in technically challenging projects within the Datacentre, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Residential and R&D sectors. Following the appointment on a major project in North London, they are looking to recruit a Mechanical Project Manager / Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the project. Role: Mechanical Project Manager – Day Rate – £350 - £450 per day (CIS) Start ASAP for the right candidate Project: New build mixed use development consisting of very high end residential units and large commercial amenities. The project is circa £25 million M&E and the program runs through to late 2025. Role/Responsibilities: Design Management (reviewing design liaising with client, main contractor and consultants) Procurement of subcontractors, kit and plant Technical submittals RFIs – Liaison with client team, main contractor and sub contractors Value Engineering where applicable Programming of works Health & Safety management (RAMS) Commercial Responsibility, assisting with sub contractor variation accounts working alongside project specific Quantity Survey. Management of variations Team Coordination (overseeing engineers, construction managers and supervisors) Progress meetings with sub contractors, client and internal meetings Overseeing commissioning stages Formulation of OM Manuals and client handover
