I am working with a renewable power company that develops, owns and operates projects across the UK and Europe. The business is well established with 8 operational assets and a portfolio of projects with values from £300m to £1.5billion. The company focuses on Battery Energy, Green Hydrogen and Pumped Hydro Storage. As the business is expanding, they are searching for a Senior Town Planner to work on Development Consent Orders (DCOs) for projects of national significance. The role sits within a team of ten development and town professionals. Working closely with the Head of Town Planning you will be responsible for the end to end management of planning applications including consultations with local authorities and communities. This will naturally include overseeing external consultants, legal and grid connection teams. The business is growing rapidly as such there are excellent opportunites to progress.
