Senior Quantity Surveyor Exeter Permanent Joining a 5 housebuilding business in Exeter, who cover Somerset & Devon Having a number of live sites across Somerset and Devon, the company are actively looking for a self-sufficient and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team and take the lead on 2 developments, which are both commutable from the office in Exeter. You will be an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with a proven background running new home sites. You will take full commercial responsibility for your sites, from procurement of subcontractors to final account, you will provide detail reporting on a weekly and monthly basic along with CVR’s. You will ensure high standards of account management and customer liaison, cost control, risk management and accurate reporting are applied. Applicants should possess: • A proven track record in a Senior Quantity Surveying role • Extensive house building experience with recognised developers and/or contractors • Excellent communication and management skills • A good understanding of construction methods and materials • A min HNC level qualification in Construction or related subject • Fully IT literate • Ideally have used COINS The company are able to offer a competitive salary which will DOE and range from £55k - £65k, and a generous benefits package including holiday, pension, healthcare, car or allowance and bonus Senior Quantity Surveyors or capable project quantity surveyors, looking to step up are encouraged to apply Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor Location: Exeter & Surrounding Type: Permanent
