Site Manager Kier, Northampton Rate - Negotiable, indicate rate sought - Inside IR35 1 is in the Major Projects team, the other in the Capital Works team Contract length until May 2025, potential for extension. Some night work will be required adhoc when impact is less, to close major interchanges Also occasional weekend work 40 hours per week 7:30am, usually finishing at 4:30pm No mileage paid from home to office, only office to site travel is payable Having a highways background is key Candidates with a local authority background are desired, it’s important to know how Local Authorities operate, however applicants with transferable skills will still be considered. SMSTS needed 2 projects to be completed by December, looking to get contractors started ASAP. Some bridges work also Reporting to the Site Managers, the Site Supervisor role is an exciting opportunity to assist in delivering a wide range of Major Projects schemes for Kier on behalf of West Northamptonshire Council. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic individual with a proven track record in supervising all aspects of onsite maintenance and improvement schemes. The works will include footway reconstruction, carriageway resurfacing, surface treatments, drainage improvements, traffic signals and structures repairs. The position requires experience in working on a live public highway whilst promoting human focused approach to safety and ensuring compliance with all relevant SHEQ processes and procedures.
