Main Contractor – Refurbishment & Fit-Out Package: £60k-£65k plus travel allowance Location: Central London Are you a proactive and experienced Site Manager looking to work on exciting projects in the refurbishment and fit-out sector? Their work spans a variety of sectors, including: Offices/Commercial Heritage/Listed Buildings Retail/Restaurants, Cafes & Shops Schools & Student Accommodation Sports & Leisure Facilities High-End Residential With most projects located close to Central London, they are now looking for skilled Site Managers to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities – Site Manager Site Management Oversee daily on-site activities to ensure smooth project progression and completion within time, budget, and quality expectations. Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site operatives. Monitor project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met. Conduct daily briefings and ensure all team members are aligned with project goals and Health & Safety requirements. Health & Safety Ensure all Health & Safety regulations are strictly adhered to on-site. Develop and enforce site-specific safety plans. Conduct regular site inspections, addressing any safety issues immediately. Quality Assurance Ensure all work meets the company’s high-quality standards and project specifications. Conduct regular snagging and quality checks to identify and rectify issues early. Maintain accurate records of progress, materials, and workforce on-site. Client & Stakeholder Liaison Act as the primary on-site point of contact for clients and stakeholders, addressing queries and concerns professionally. Attend regular progress meetings with the project team and clients to provide updates and discuss challenges. Candidate Requirements Proven experience as a Site Manager within the refurbishment and fit-out sector. Strong knowledge of construction methods, Health & Safety regulations, and quality standards. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively. Ability to work under pressure and solve problems proactively. Experience managing multiple subcontractors and suppliers. CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid certifications are essential. Why Join?
