Job Title: Assistant Site Manager Location: East Midlands, Leicestershire, Leicester Job Type: Temp to perm - expected to work Full-Time hours Monday to Friday Primary Industry: Construction, New Build Housing, House Building Salary: £240 - £250 Per day Qualifications: SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, Driving Licence Skills: Traditional new build housing A leading House Builder is seeking an Assistant Site Manager for a temporary to permanent contract for a project involving traditional new build houses in Leicester. Job Duties: Assist the Site Manager in overseeing all aspects of the construction site Coordinate and manage subcontractors and trades on site Ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times Monitor and report on progress to the Site Manager Assist in resolving any onsite issues or conflicts Help maintain high-quality standards of workmanship Required Qualifications: SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card Valid First Aid certification Driving Licence Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills: Previous experience in new build housing, ideally with a PLC developer Strong knowledge of construction processes and regulations Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Working Conditions: The role of Assistant Site Manager involves working on a construction site, which may include exposure to various weather conditions and physical demands.
