Description

We are currently searching for an experienced Site Manager for a leading civils, groundworks and building contractor. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable company that delivers high-quality projects across the UK. The ideal candidate will have proven site management experience together with experience of both civils, groundworks, and steel frame construction. Due to the nature of their projects and clients this position will involve nationwide travel. Salary £55,000 Package Key Responsibilities: Site Management: Oversee daily site operations, ensuring the smooth running of all activities, maintaining high standards of quality, and adhering to project timelines. Client Reporting: Draft and submit detailed progress reports, providing clear updates on the status of projects to clients. Program Management: Develop, manage, and report on project programs to ensure they align with client expectations. Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS): Write and review RAMS to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Third-Party RAMS Review: Assess and approve RAMS submitted by third-party contractors, ensuring they meet safety standards. Nationwide Travel: Manage multiple sites across the UK, with travel as required. ________________________________________ Ideal Candidate: Experience: A minimum of 5 years in site management within the civils and groundworks sector with additional knowledge of steel frame industrial building. Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, particularly in report writing and client liaison. Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in drafting programes, writing RAMS, and reviewing third-party RAMS. Flexibility: Willingness to travel nationwide as part of the role. Qualifications Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team Excellent communication skills to interact with various stakeholders Proficiency in time management to meet project deadlines Strong organizational skills to coordinate project activities effectively
