Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for an exciting new challenge? Taylor Woodrow is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team in Somerset working on Civils Projects across the South West. Duties Managing all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects. Ensuring projects are completed within the projected budget. Providing financial and commercial advice to the project team. Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities. Monitoring and controlling costs throughout the project lifecycle. Identifying, analysing, and developing responses to commercial risks. Managing subcontractor procurement, payments, and final accounts. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards. Person Specification Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the Civil Engineering sector Knowledge of NEC contracts Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Relevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field. Membership with a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS) is desirable but not essential
