Overview: Reginald Gray is seeking an experienced and proactive Freelance Site Manager to provide cover during a critical phase of a £1M refurbishment project in Oxford city centre. This short-term role is essential to ensure smooth project completion while the current manager is on annual leave. The project is nearing its final stages, with finishing trades currently on-site. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage finishing trades on-site to ensure quality and timely completion of works. Maintain strong communication with senior management, providing regular updates on progress and any issues. Ensure all activities adhere to the project programme and deadlines. Enforce strict compliance with health and safety regulations on-site. Resolve any on-site issues quickly to prevent delays and ensure a smooth handover. Requirements: Proven experience managing refurbishment or construction projects, preferably in the finishing stages. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage trades and ensure productivity. Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively reporting to stakeholders. Solid understanding of health and safety protocols and site management best practices. Contract Duration: This is a short-term freelance position to cover the Site Manager’s annual leave during a critical period. Start and end dates will be confirmed based on project requirements
