SITE MANAGER / PLANT MANAGER / PRODUCTION MANAGER REQUIRED TO RUN A BUSY AGGREGATES PRODUCTION OPERATION TITLE: Site Manager – Quarry & Aggregates Production Plant Operations PACKAGE: £(phone number removed) plus Car / Allowance & Bonus LOCATION: Brighton Area (East) YOU WILL HAVE BEEN A: Production Manager, Depot Manager, Operations Manager, Plant Manager, Site Manager, Shift Manager or Similar SECTOR EXPERIENCE: Heavy mechanical processes such as Quarry, Aggregates, Building Products, Waste Management, Recycling, Quarry, Construction & Demolition Waste, Biomass, Metal Recycling, Brick Production, Mining, Minerals Extraction or similar ROLE: Site Manager – Quarry & Aggregates Production Plant Operations You will be responsible for the day to day running of an Aggregates production facility You will manage a team of roughly a Dozen, including training and development You will work with maintenance contractors to ensure that plant is available and performing You will be involved in Safety, Environmental and Quality compliance and drive continuous improvement You will enforce cost control measures and strive to improve plant performance EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Site Manager – Quarry & Aggregates Production Plant Operations Demonstrable man management experience ideally in an environment where heavy plant equipment is in operation such as Shredding, Screening, Crushing along with large mobile plant Desirable Qualifications (not essential): IOSH, IEMA, NEBOSH, Lead Auditor, any Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering, ILM / Management, any Plant Equipment Licences, MPQC SHE, any relating to quarrying or aggregates, COTC (Certificate of Technical Competence) YOU WILL HAVE BEEN A: Production Manager, Depot Manager, Operations Manager, Plant Manager, Site Manager, Shift Manager or Similar SECTOR EXPERIENCE: Heavy mechanical processes such as Quarry, Aggregates, Building Products, Waste Management, Recycling, Quarry, Construction & Demolition Waste, Brick Production, Mining, Minerals Extraction or similar
