Tradestech are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Site Manager / Supervisor to oversee the construction and removal of earthworks on an important environmental scheme near Wareham. This is a critical project where the Site Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and successful delivery of the works. Key Responsibilities: The Site Manager will lead all operations related to earthworks, ensuring that every stage of the project is completed efficiently and to high standards. The Site Manager will be responsible for overseeing the construction and removal of earthworks, ensuring that all site activities are carried out safely and in line with project requirements. As Site Manager, you will coordinate the daily activities of site staff, manage resources, and ensure all tasks are completed on time. The Site Manager will ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety standards and will take ownership of site safety protocols, ensuring that all workers are following best practices. A key responsibility for the Site Manager will be the completion and management of project paperwork, including quality assurance (QA) documentation, ensuring accurate records are maintained throughout the project. Requirements: Previous experience as a Site Manager on Civils or Earthworks schemes is essential. The Site Manager must have excellent organisational skills, with a focus on managing paperwork, quality control, and safety processes. A valid SMSTS or SSSTS certification is required for the Site Manager role, along with a valid CSCS card. The successful Site Manager will also need Emergency First Aid certification to ensure quick response to any onsite incidents.
