Quantity Surveyor/Estimator – Fit Out Location: Wakefield, West Yorkshire (Office based role with occasional site visit) Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 £6,000 Car Allowance, Holidays, Pension, and Performance-Based Bonus About: My client is a leading hospitality and leisure fit-out company specialising in fast-track project. With project values ranging from £100,000 to £1 million, they deliver quality fit-outs on tight timelines, enhancing the UK's dining and entertainment spaces. We are looking for a dynamic Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to join the team and help drive their projects to success. Role Overview: As a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator, you will be responsible for managing tenders and delivering accurate cost estimates for the fast-track pub and restaurant fit-outs. Working closely with the project team, you will ensure that projects are commercially viable and delivered on budget. Your ability to work in a fast-paced environment, coupled with strong commercial acumen and a "can-do" attitude, will be key to your success in this role. Key Responsibilities: Preparing and submitting competitive tenders for hospitality and leisure fit-out projects Estimating costs for projects ranging from £100,000 to £1 million Managing all aspects of cost control and contract administration Evaluating subcontractor quotes and negotiating favourable terms Liaising with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure effective communication and smooth project delivery Supporting the commercial team with project forecasts and reporting What We're Looking For: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator in the construction industry, ideally with experience in fast-track fit-outs Familiarity with pub and restaurant fit-out projects is a strong advantage Excellent commercial acumen and a keen eye for detail Dynamic, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude with a "can-do" mindset Strong negotiation skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or a related field What We Offer: Competitive salary between £45,000 - £60,000, depending on experience £6,000 car allowance Holidays, pension, and company performance-based bonus Opportunities for career development in a fast-growing company
