Assistant Quantity Surveyor for specialist Main contractor with excellent reputation and interesting projects. About the role of Assistant Quantity Surveyor They are currently seeking a Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work under a Senior on a fast moving demolition, new build and fit out project valued at £21m. Your role as surveyor will be to work with the team from procurement stages though to final accounting managing subcontractor packages, feeding into CVRs and support general commercial functions across the project. The project is under JCT D&B and the preference is for a candidate who has experience working on new build construction projects. This project is based in South Cambridge and you would be required to work from site. Requirements for Assistant Quantity Surveyor The company are looking for a candidate with ideally 1 years experience with another Main contractor Someone who is a motivated is keen to join a business with excellent training and progression and offer and where you can learn from experienced staff and who ideally have the following: Degree in/or currently undertaking degree in a construction related subject Minimum of 1 years experience Good knowledge of Excel Bluebeam (not essential) Experience in managing subcontractor packages and paymentsThe company: This Main contractor work on Cut and Carve, refurbishment and new build projects and are looking to add an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to their team across the Home Counties and Cambridgeshire.
