MEP Quantity Surveyor Tier 1 Main Contractor (Life Sciences Division) Pay Rate: Circa £450 - £500 per day (Outside IR35) Central London We are seeking a Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor with a mechanical bias to oversee the ductwork package on behalf of a leading UK construction company in their specialist life sciences division. This position is available on a freelance basis outside IR35 and will consist of overseeing a leading ductwork contractor on a major commercial office and labs project in Central London. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage mechanical (ductwork) elements on a high-profile hospital and commercial project. Ensure accurate cost management, valuation, and forecasting for all assigned mechanical packages. Collaborate effectively with the MEP Commercial Lead and project team to align project goals. Provide detailed financial reporting and support for project cost control. Requirements: Extensive experience as a Quantity Surveyor within MEP projects, preferably with a focus on ductwork. Proven expertise on large-scale, complex builds within the healthcare or life sciences sectors. Strong communication skills and an ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
