Civil Engineering CAD Technician – Birmingham – £22,400 - £30,000 Our client is a UK-leading independent and employee-owned multi-disciplinary built environment practice who due to busy workload and expansion are seeking a Civil Engineering CAD techniciian to join their team in Birmingham. The Successful Civil Engineering CAD Technicians Role: Preparing drawings to support residential and commercial planning applications. Preparing drawings to support s38, s104, and s278 applications. Preparing engineering base plans to support the detailed design of residential sites. Liaising directly with clients when necessary. Person Specification Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD Excellent presentation skills and drawing set-up Previous experience of civil engineering (particularly roads and drainage and within the residential sector). Proactive Self-motivated Able to work under pressure Adaptable to rapidly changing projects Proven ability to work well within teams and willingness to take accountability for own work. Be able to liaise with clients in a professional manner.
