The Opportunity We are excited to announce an opening for a Senior Chartered / Senior Associate Building Surveyor to join our growing team, based in our Winchester office. The role of Senior Chartered / Senior Associate Building Surveyor will involve working within our Building Consultancy team, supporting an array of projects and clients. This opportunity is ideal for a competent surveyor looking to leverage their extensive experience and contribute to the development of Hollis. Key Responsibilities Delivery of multi-skilled building surveying instructions across dilapidations, license to alter, tenant alterations, schedules of condition, and project management (with flexibility to pick up a variety as you see fit) Take ownership of a healthy pipeline of commercial real estate projects across various sectors like offices, retail and industrial Provide professional advice on property and construction, which includes acquisition and disposal. Prepare and negotiate schedules of dilapidations for landlords and tenants. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring effective communication and client satisfaction. Mentor and guide junior surveyors. Required Experience, Qualification & Skills MRICS Experienced with the delivery of multi-skilled building surveying instructions Experience within the commercial industrial, office and retail sectors (others also beneficial) Strong report-writing skills with attention to detail. Excellent client-facing and interpersonal skills Commercial awareness and the ability to provide strategic advice. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
