Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor (Housebuilding Experience) Location: Wetherby, UK Salary: Circa £65,000 Company Car/Car Allowance Pension Healthcare 1 Day a Week Work from Home My client is a well-established housebuilding company based in Wetherby, and they are currently seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with a proven track record in the residential construction sector. Key Responsibilities: Managing all costs relating to residential building projects from initial estimates to final accounts. Overseeing the financial and contractual management of multiple projects. Liaising with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities. Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and manage variations. Working closely with the commercial and project teams to maximise project profitability. Requirements: Proven experience in a Senior Quantity Surveyor role, particularly in the housebuilding sector. Strong knowledge of construction costs, contracts, and procurement processes. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Relevant degree or qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
