Job Title: Quantity Surveyor / Estimator Location: London- North Salary: £52,(Apply online only)- £70,(Apply online only) (depending on exp) Reports to: Company Directors Hours: Permanent, Full-Time Recruitment Opportunity: We are working with a well-established construction company in London to find an experienced Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to join their growing team. This company specializes in refurbishment and new build projects, primarily in the education and commercial sectors, with project values ranging from £5,(Apply online only) to £4 million. Were seeking a skilled professional with strong cost management experience who can contribute to their continued success and growth. About the Role: As a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator, youll work closely with Contracts and Site Managers to provide accurate and detailed project costings. Your key responsibilities will include tendering, procurement, cost management, and ensuring projects stay within budget while meeting all deadlines. Key Responsibilities: Produce quantities from drawings and develop detailed cost plans, schedules, and feasibility studies Prepare pre-tender estimates and create tender documents including bills of quantities and scope of works Manage procurement and appointment of suppliers/subcontractors Attend site visits and meetings to review valuations and progress Oversee cost management across project lifecycles, including pricing variations and preparing valuations Compile financial reports, manage period cost reporting, and produce final accounts Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and handle contract documentation What Were Looking For: A relevant professional qualification (or working towards one) such as RICS, CIOB, RIBA, ICE, or CIBSE At least 3 years of Quantity Surveyor/Estimator experience, with the ability to manage tenders up to £4m A diploma/degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field Proficiency in administration, writing, numeracy, IT, and MS Office A valid CSCS card and full driving license Strong team-working skills, as well as the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines Interested?
