Madisons Recruitment are currently recruiting, on behalf of our client, for a Quantity Surveyor, for a permanent position based in North West London. Responsibilities Communicate with supply chain and team members regarding new and current projects Prepare estimates and purchase orders in detail for all products Ensure timely completion of estimates Understand scope of work to bid Manage bid pricing from all suppliers Prepare cost analysis Establish and maintain working relationships with subcontractors Submit tenders in timely manner Present tender adjudications to seniors Requirements The ideal candidate will have: 3 years experience in construction estimating A relevant degree Be able to read architectural plans and develop cost estimates A strong understanding of residential construction processes and refurbishment Proficiency with MS Word and Excel Be able to multi-task and meet strict deadlines Impeccable problem-solving skills Review and evaluate cost estimates Experience at working for social housing sector would be an advantage Benefits 28 days holidays including the bank holidays Vehicle and fuel card provided Mobile phone provided If you are actively search for a new role and interested in hearing more on the above Quantity Surveyor position, please apply or contact using any of the methods below.
