Description

The ideal applicant would have minimum 8 - 10 years’ experience of producing detailed underground topographical surveys and must be able to demonstrate experience in the use GPS and Total Station equipment to produce a detailed topographical survey. Experience of multi-disciplines would be an advantage. Role Description Carry out site surveys as required by the work instruction Undertake thorough and detailed topographical surveys and conduct paperwork in accordance with company procedures Liaising with other site surveyors, contractors, suppliers, clients Carry out appropriate quality control checks before drawings issued to customer Mentor and train less experienced surveyors Overseeing technical aspects of projects to ensure quality delivery Recording of utility mapping survey markings · Must be self-motivated, have the ability to follow instructions and to work on their own initiative and flexible Requirements Skills & Attributes Previous experience working as a Topographical Surveyor, ideally with supervisory experience. Advanced skills in the use of GPS and TPS. Ability to use CAD and SSC controller preferred but not essential. Excellent knowledge and experience of underground utility mapping and GPR Knowledge of Topographical Surveying equipment beneficial but not essential Experience working across a wide variety of environments and on complex surveys A full UK driving licence Right to work in the UK Experience of carrying out training of other staff Ability to work away from home occasionally CSCS qualification is beneficial but not essential
