This is an exciting opportunity for an Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a growing main contractor working on a life sciences project in Cambridgeshire. About the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor This is an opportunity to join one of the UKs leading Main contractors who have gone from strength to strength and currently looking to add to the team in Cambridgeshire. You will be working as part of a commercial team as No 1 commercial on site with support from junior team members on site managing packages the full upstream process, client reporting, CVRs and cost planning/control from PCSA through to final accounts. The project is a £50m Life sciences project and will be starting on site in January and runs for approx 18 months. Requirements for Senior Quantity Surveyor: The company are looking for a candidate who has strong commercial acumen, excellent negotiation and communication skills, is organised and has high attention to detail. You will come from a Main contractor background and be competent in managing the full commercial process within a fast paced environment. Degree in a construction related subject JCT 2016 Contract experience Experience as the commercial no 1 on projects circa £40m The company: The company work across the UK and Ireland across multiple sectors and have a strong pipeline of work with both new and repeat clients.
