About the opportunity: We are seeking an individual to perform the following: Lead a team of quantity surveyors in estimating construction project costs. Oversee financial and contractual aspects, including the preparation of bills of quantities. Assist in managing project financing and material procurement. Actively seek opportunities to enhance processes and procedures. Ensure the supply chain is effectively engaged with appropriate contract terms and conditions. Foster strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and collaboration. Manage subcontract letting, negotiations, and financial accounting. About the benefits and rewards: The salary will be dependent on the level of exposure to the residential industry. The company offers excellent opportunities and offers a basic salary in the region of up to £85k DOE. In addition to the basic salary there will be further company benefits including company car or car allowance, private medical cover and a discretionary bonus. About the requirements: A Senior Quantity Surveyor who has experience working for a residential developer looking to step up. Experience in managing a team for Surveyors, including trainees and assistants. Ability to demonstrate a good knowledge of monthly reporting and earned value analysis Excellent team player whilst also holding the ability to work independently on their initiative Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
