Alex Tart Architects are seeking an enthusiastic “ Senior Project Architect ” looking for a new opportunity to join a vibrant architectural practice focused on high end residential work. We are a cohesive office with a passion for designing beautiful houses. Projects range from refurbishments in Central London, to new country houses. We are very interested in meeting Senior Architects with the following Skills & Experience: 8 years London high-end residential experience post Part 3 is essential. Extensive experience in planning negotiations with London based councils. High quality contemporary design experience is essential, detailing classical buildings experience is equally valued. Ability to supervise, challenge, co-ordinate and lead a professional team, including consultants. An ability to work independently is also required. The ability to work within the project budget. Detailing experience of residential refurbishment projects is essential (both internal and external) along with understanding the inherent technical and statutory issues. High proficiency in AutoCAD, Word and Excel are essential, Sketchup and Photoshop are highly desirable Knowledge of the latest building regulations and British Standards, essential. Skill at freehand sketching is considered a major asset. Our modern and friendly office is centrally located in Putney, only a moment to buses, trains and tube stations.
