Civil / Structural Design Engineer opportunity available on an ongoing contract basis to work from home. This position is with a global engineering organsation, engaged in interesting and prestigious projects across several sectors. The Civil Design Engineer will work on renewable energy (solar) and decarbonisation projects (public buildings, such as schools and hospitals). Responsibilities will include the design of groundworks, earthworks and drainage, as well as structural elements. Travel to an office in Cambridge once or twice a month is required. Civil / Structural Design Engineers wishing to be office-based can work at client locations in Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Welwyn Garden City, London, Bristol or Cambridge.
