My client are a global leading tier 1 construction group delivering major projects across a multitude of sectors including commercial, residential, retail, industrial, medical, and leisure. They have a requirement for a Lead Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on a £35m Ministry of Justice scheme in Lancashire. Experience of working on similar projects is desirable. As the Lead Senior Quantity Surveyor, your role will include: Take the lead in all financial matters related to construction projects Manage cost estimates, budgets, and procurement processes Conduct thorough cost analysis, identifying potential areas for cost-saving measures Prepare and evaluate subcontractor agreements Collaborate with the project team to monitor and control project expenses Provide accurate and timely financial reporting Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders Mentor and support junior members of the quantity surveying teamRequirements: Experience of working for a main contractor on similar-sized projects Strong analytical and communication skills.
