Activus Recruitment are seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor based in the Inverness area to join our client, a well established Civils and Construction Company with over 30 years in the industry. The Role: Preparation of Interim Valuations Final Account negotiations and settlement Cost Valuation Reporting Identify and pricing variations Carry out site visits on a regular basis Preparation of material requisitions Liaise with clients and attend client meetings Analysis of project costs Managing subcontractor appointment and valuations Personal Requirements Excellent eye for detail and a comprehensive approach. You will be highly experienced in reading and accurately interpreting drawings and technical specifications. Excellent communication skills Highly motivated and organised individual Experience of various construction methods Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Excellent understanding of commercial issues. Competent in the use of computer packages Salary will be based on experience
