Our client, a leading name in the construction and groundworks industry, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team. As a Senior QS, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial and contractual aspects of projects, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and high standards in delivery. What We Offer: Salary: £50,000 - £60,000, based on experience Package: Comprehensive benefits package Location: Office-based role in Merseyside with site visits across the North West Key Responsibilities: Oversee project costs and ensure commercial control across multiple projects Manage subcontractor packages, valuations, and variations Ensure accurate reporting and forecasting of project performance Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure budgets and timelines are adhered to Collaborate with project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes within agreed budgets Key Requirements: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally with a background in residential groundworks Strong commercial acumen and experience managing costs, contracts, and risks Excellent negotiation and communication skills A proactive approach to problem-solving and financial management.
