Site Manager - New build extension - Regents Park Permanent position Start ASAP Salary up to circa £72,000 package (including 25 days holiday, pension, life insurance & 4 x salary) This 30-year-old principal contractor has an impressive background (and order book) in design & build construction and interior fit-out works. There is an immediate requirement for a Site Manager to join the team on an £11m JCT D&B extension comprising of new office space with bridge links to an existing and occupied building in central London, Reporting to a Project Manager. The company is the principal contractor on this project so the ideal candidate will need main contractor experience. The role - in short: ·Day to day control and delivery of the site to meet customer specification (quality, time, ·etc.) such that all risk, specification and project timescales are met in full. Required Skills and Attributes: ·Strong knowledge of construction, construction management and design-build construction ·obtained through a combination of experience and education. ·Excellent man management skills ·Strong self-management skills to ensure timely issue of project deliverables ·Ability to monitor and review the as-built drawing process ·Team player but also able to work on own initiative ·Strong customer focus ·Commercial, financially and contractually aware with good communication, inter-personal and ·negotiation skills At other companies this role could also be referred to as: Site Manager, Senior Site Manager, Build Manager, Senior Build Manager, Construction Manager or Senior Construction Manager.
