Description

A new role for a Quantity Surveyor in Somerset open to full-time or part-time Hays are supporting a regionally based construction company, who specialise in listed buildings, including building and restoration. As a result of expanding projects, they require a quantity surveyor to join the team to support the Director with intermediate level duties. As a QS you will play a crucial role in managing aspects of procurement, invoicing, tenders and bidding. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and analyse costings for tenders. Work closely with project managers to ensure accurate cost control. Conduct feasibility studies to estimate materials, time, and labour costs. Negotiate contracts and work schedules. Monitor and report on project progress, costs, and any variations. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
