Leap29 are partnered with an established UK developer that are in search of an experienced Project Development Manager. The projects will be utility-scale ground-mount solar and battery storage across the UK. Our client develops, owns, and operates the assets and have all functions in-house, including, development, finance, engineering, and legal. Areas of Responsibility: Managing projects from inception until Ready to Build (RtB). Ensuring delivery of projects on time, within scope and budget. Execute strategies for greenfield projects, existing projects, and project acquisitions Lead on all aspects of the development process including planning, land acquisition, . Take ownership of assigned projects, including managing deadlines, multiple project objectives, and success criteria for each The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Experience of working in a similar role is essential. 3 years in Project Development experience in the renewables sector in the UK. A solid understanding of the energy development processes in England, Wales, and Scotland. Exposure to functions such as Land Acquisition, Grid Applications, Planning/EIAs, Project Finance. Excellent stakeholder management skills. Strong commercial awareness.
