Job Title: Assistant Site Manager Location: West Midlands, Shropshire, Telford Job Type: Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hours Monday to Friday Primary Industry: Construction, New Build Housing, Traditional House Building Salary: £40000 - £48000 Per annum Benefits: Car allowance or company car, fuel allowance, bonus scheme, private pension and healthcare Qualifications: SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, Scaffold, Full UK Driving Licence Skills: Traditional PLC House Building An Award-winning Housing Developer are looking for an experienced Assistant Site Manager for a new build housing project in Telford. This development consists of traditional units and has a strong supportive team on site. Job Duties: Assist the Site Manager in overseeing all on-site activities Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations Coordinate subcontractors and tradespeople Monitor progress and quality of construction work Manage site logistics and ensure materials are ordered and delivered on time Required Qualifications: SMSTS certification CSCS card First Aid certification Scaffold training Full UK Driving Licence Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience with a PLC developer in an Assistant Site Manager role. Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of traditional PLC house building methods Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Good problem-solving abilities Preferred Qualifications: Additional health and safety certifications Project management qualification Working Conditions: This role involves working on a construction site, which may involve exposure to various weather conditions and physical labour.
