Project Manager Up to £60,000 plus Car or Car allowance Based at the Coleshill HQ Contract is negotiable within reason Do you want to work for an Old School M&E Contractor that operates how things 'used to be'? Apply now and Join a fantastic team based in Coleshill. Role - This position sits within the project side of our business and will involve managing a range of specialist M&E projects across the UK. The role will report directly to senior management. The projects typically vary in value from £50k to £250k and often include critical installations such as chiller, UPS, and generator swaps/upgrades. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all stages of the project lifecycle, ensuring that projects are completed on time, to a high standard, and within budget. Key responsibilities include managing subcontractors, ordering equipment, overseeing project mobilisations, checking drawings, producing O&M manuals, and ensuring all necessary health and safety requirements are met. Key Responsibilities: Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery Oversee the coordination and supervision of subcontractors on site Order equipment and materials, ensuring timely procurement Produce and check Construction Phase Plans, RAMS, and O&M documentation Ensure site safety through contractor safety assessments and compliance with regulations Review and manage the programme of works, ensuring adherence to project timelines Manage site set-up, including logistics and coordination of site activities Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution Check and approve as-fitted drawings and work collaboratively with design teams Provide site supervision where required, with assistance from senior management when necessary Required Qualifications & Skills: Experience in managing M&E projects, ideally with a focus on mission-critical applications Ability to produce and review RAMS, Construction Phase Plans, and other key project documents Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Experience in site supervision and coordination of subcontractor works Understanding of health and safety practices and the ability to ensure compliance on site Ability to communicate effectively with both clients and subcontractors Full UK driving license (for travel to site locations across the UK) Desired Qualifications: Experience in the M&E or construction industry, particularly in mission-critical sectors Ability to adapt and take on a range of tasks as required within a small, dynamic team Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving Potential to grow into a more M&E-focused role with training and development If you are a motivated individual with a strong project management background and a desire to work in a dynamic, growing company, we would love to hear from you.
