A thriving multinational M&E Contractor seeks to appoint a Mechanical Estimator and Electrical Estimator (2 separate roles) to join their team in the midlands. The successful candidate will have a proven track record within the M&E contracting field, with technical knowledge and previous experience within an estimating role. Reporting to Director Level, you will be responsible for receiving enquiries, obtaining suitable quotations for materials and from sub-contractors, compiling the tender and presenting to a director for a tender review meeting prior to submission. Once tender agreed, the successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of the tender documents and submission. The successful candidate will also be heavily involved in negotiation and handover of the project to the projects team. Essential Criteria: Have experience using a computer based Estimating Package / Excel Have previous experience within a Mechanical/Electrical Estimating Role (3-4 years) Demonstrate suitable technical knowledge Work within a pressured environment and to tight timescales Have good communication skills with team members and also clients A competitive salary will be offered
