Fit Out UK are a leading interior fit out contractor working in the Retail, Leisure, Commercial & Residential Sectors. We are seeking a Graduate / Assistant Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a vital role in assisting with managing all costs relating to our retail, commercial and hotel projects. Responsibilities - Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities - Evaluate and negotiate tenders from contractors - Manage project costs within budget - Conduct cost control and value engineering - Perform risk and value management - Advise on procurement strategy - Prepare and analyse costings for tenders Skills - Some understanding of construction contracts and legal requirements - Enthusiasm to learn and gain skills quickly. - Excellent numerical and financial skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Effective communication skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders - Degree Qualified or Working Towards
