New Assistant Site Manager position in Ashford, Kent. Have you just finished an assignment and looking for your next role? Position: Assistant Site Manager Start date: September 2024 Contract type: Freelance Location: Ashford, Kent Pay rate: £200 - £240/day Duration: 6 months Xenon Recruitment contact: Matt Jasper The company: An award winning regional residential developer who operate across the Southern Home Counties. The project: A traditional build development of 12x new homes. Consisting of semi detached and detached houses (3-4 bedroom). The role: Reporting into a Site Manager you will play a key role in the delivery of this scheme. Your role will involve but not be limited to: Management of the master build programme Weekly progress meetings with the site team and subcontractors Progress reporting to the Site Manager on a weekly basis Ensure key milestones are achieved in line with the build programme Management and coordination of subcontractors (internal and external) Health & Safety including site inductions, subcontractor RAMS and site inspections Responsible for quality control, ensuring all units are completed to the required standard prior to NHBC inspection About you: You will have gained circa 2 years experience, ideally working for a Residential Developer Have the correct CITB qualifications for the position (CSCS Card, SMSTS, First Aid at Work) Excellent eye for detail with a focus on quality Experience of controlling multiple subcontractor packages and direct labour Strong organisational and time management skills
