Day to day: Prepare activity schedules and bills of quantities. Perform risk, value management and cost control. Prepare / agree monthly valuations with clients. Agreement of final account with client in prompt manner Allocate work to subcontractors. Agreement of variations / final accounts. Provide advice on contractual claims. Monitoring and controlling Build Costs. Health & Safety, Equality, Environmental & Quality. Essential Criteria: Degree educated in Quantity Surveying. 3 years experience as a QS / Pref Main Contractor. Technical and practical knowledge of the building industry. Negotiation and team working skills. Analytical and decision-making skills. General knowledge of health and safety issues.
