Site Manager Central London £250 - £300 a day 6 Month contract Our client is a leading name in the construction and housing industry, is seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Site Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Site Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the Site Manager in the successful delivery of residential construction projects. Responsibilities: Site Operations Support: Assist the Site Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations on the construction site, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and according to schedule. Health and Safety Compliance: Promote and enforce health and safety protocols, conducting regular inspections and ensuring all workers adhere to safety regulations. Team Coordination: Collaborate with various contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel to ensure seamless coordination of activities and effective communication across the team. Quality Control: Assist in maintaining high-quality construction standards by conducting inspections and addressing any issues promptly. Documentation and Reporting: Support in maintaining accurate project documentation, including progress reports, daily logs, and other necessary paperwork. Problem-solving: Work with the Site Manager to identify and resolve challenges that may arise during the construction process. Client Interaction: Engage with clients and stakeholders as needed, providing updates and addressing concerns professionally. Schedule Management: Contribute to the management of project schedules, ensuring milestones are met and addressing any delays. Cost Monitoring: Assist in monitoring project costs and resources to ensure effective budget management. Supervision in the Site Managers Absence: Step into a leadership role in the absence of the Site Manager, guiding the team and making decisions to keep the project on track. Requirements: Proven experience in a construction-related role, preferably as a Site Supervisor or Assistant Site Manager. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and construction best practices. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines. Relevant construction qualifications or certifications. Valid driving license.
