We are recruiting a Fitout Project Manager with industrial experience on for a large storage unit development in Barking, East London. Our Client is a Main Contractor with continous work in London and home counties. This position can be either freelance or permanent. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the fitout phase of an industrial unit project in Barking, ensuring that all works are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Coordinate and oversee all on-site activities, including subcontractor management, material procurement, and scheduling. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and site protocols. Conduct regular progress meetings with stakeholders, providing updates on timelines, costs, and any potential issues. Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents to ensure the project is executed as per design and client requirements. Monitor and manage site logistics, ensuring efficient delivery of materials and equipment. Manage project documentation, including daily reports, RFI logs, and change orders. Requirements: Proven experience as a Project Manager in fitout projects, preferably within industrial or commercial sectors. Strong understanding of construction processes, with a focus on fitout and finishing works. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. CSCS card, SMSTS, and First Aid certifications are essential
