Estimator – Drylining Our client is a specialist subcontractor within drylining and ceiling fit out and have been operating for five years. Don’t let this put you off, they have over £4M in cash reserves and a £25M Turnover. Moreover, as the business develops so can you. Since their inception they have grown exponentially, this is all down to long standing, existing relationships the owner has within the industry. He is a big name in drylining, well liked and respected by clients and suppliers. Our client is working with tier one main contractors like Laing O’Rourke, Kier, Walter Lilly and Balfour Beatty with projects ranging in value from £500K - £10M. They currently have tenders waiting to be priced but not enough people in the estimating team to do it, hence the need for an Estimator to join their Preconstruction team. As our client’s business is growing, they are looking for an experienced drylining Estimator. Our client is seeking an Estimator who knows how dry wall is built so you can price projects using first principals, building rates from scratch (labour, plant, material). You will report to the Estimating Manager, working with one Senior and a Junior Estimator. They use on screen take off for measuring projects and conquest to price the work. This opportunity is being offered on a hybrid basis with three days in the office and two working at home. They also pay for all travel when going to the office and give a 10% bonus at Christmas (this has been paid every year since they started) plus pension.
