Elvet Recruitment have been appointed to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a leading residential contractor to lead a mixed site, comprising of typical dwellings and an apartment. Our client is a well regarded and established contractor who operate with a number of disciplines including commercial and residential. Responsible for a flagship residential development, you will be based in the North East with the flexibility and mix of working between site, home or in the office. Main duties will include: Internal cost reports and CVR’s Measurement and valuation of main contract accounts and subcontract accounts Subcontractor procurement Raising sales invoices Payments to subcontractors Issue and maintain correspondence and records To be considered, applicants must: JCT Design and Build, NEC and Intermediate forms of contract Preparing take offs and re-measures Understanding the external valuation processes Preparing internal cost reports Understanding changes in design and consequences to time and cost Working with wider teams from various stakeholders Please call Michael Dufferwiel at Elvet Recruitment to discuss in more detail
