I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Tier 1 Contractor who build medium sized projects through to some of the largest and most recognisable in the South. The company has a turnover of £650million and their name is recognised within the marketplace as delivering projects to the highest quality on time and budget. They are currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor/ Managing Surveyor to join the team. Reporting to the Project Director you will oversee all commercial aspects of a steel frame office block valued at £60million project. Ideally, you will have worked on Defence schemes previously and worked on contracts valued to £30million. An understanding of the NEC forms of contract is a must, as is the ability to be SC cleared. You will oversee a team of 4no Surveyors and be involved in the full project life cycle – 1 year tendering then 1.5 year on site. Normally in a position to promote from within, this is a rare opportunity to join this contractor at a senior level
