Quantity Surveyor – Main Contractor – Woolwich We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic and growing construction company based in Woolwich, London. Specialising in delivering high-quality, complex construction projects across London, Surrey, and Kent, the company's portfolio ranges from high-rise residential schemes to private sale housing projects, with values between £3.5 million and £60 million. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional to manage a variety of projects and take ownership of multiple schemes. The successful candidate will be based in Greenwich for three days per week, with two days spent on-site. You will join a well-established team of three Quantity Surveyors, reporting directly to the Commercial Lead. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee 2-3 construction projects simultaneously. Prepare bills of quantities and cost estimates. Ensure accurate financial reporting and maintain cost control measures. Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and effective communication. Qualifications and Skills Required: Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field. 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor on construction projects. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques. Proven experience in managing projects of varying sizes and durations. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
