Senior Quantity Surveyor - Highways Maintenance One of my close clients in the Tier 1 Private Borough Contractor space is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work prestigious Highways Maintenance projects in London. Key Responsibilities: Preparing detailed Bill of Quantities and cost estimates Managing and overseeing all stages of the project lifecycle, from inception to completion Conducting site visits to assess progress and ensure compliance with plans and contract terms Providing accurate and timely cost advice and financial reporting Collaborating with stakeholders to develop procurement strategies Ensuring effective cost control and value engineering Negotiating contracts with clients, contractors, and suppliers Identifying and managing commercial risks Job Requirements: Extensive experience in quantity surveying, preferably within the highways/maintenance sector NEC3/NEC4 Contract experience Strong proficiency in preparing Bill of Quantities Excellent understanding of construction contracts and procurement strategies Proven ability to manage project finances and deliver accurate cost reporting Exceptional negotiation and communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Capability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field Benefits: Opportunity for career progression Potential work-from-home options Engagement in varied and challenging projects Supportive and dynamic work environment Comprehensive employee benefits package If you are a skilled Quantity Surveyor looking for a new opportunity to advance your career while working on exciting projects, we encourage you to apply now.
