About the job
Description
I am currently recruiting on behalf of a small housing developer who have been producing quality bespoke homes across the South West for roughly 30 years. All sites are normally within a 40 mile radius from the office, and they are focused more on delivering very high end bespoke spec houses in local communities across the Wiltshire border mainly. They now require 2 site managers to join the team on a permanent basis as they continue to grow and plan for future developments to start happening soon. You will be employed as a site manager on a permanent basis. This will be working on an existing site within Wiltshire, the build being traditional build. The salary range on offer is between £55,000-£60,000 p/a package. Your day to day responsibilities include: managing trades, managing programmes, working closely with an assistant, ensuring everything is to budget, chairing internal and external meetings, snagging, toolbox/induction talks and ensuring the health and safety is of high priority across the site. You must have a proven record of working successfully on smaller, high end bespoke sites and are looking for somebody with a minimum of 5 years’ experience. You must be a strong leader, have good communication skills and IT proficient. You must have SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid all in date to be considered for this role. You must be proactive, hardworking, a problem solver and somebody who is out on site pushing it along. They want somebody who takes pride in what they build and who wants a long term career of progression. This is to start asap so ideally November/December 2024 as expecting a notice period. This could be an excellent chance to start something new, showcasing what you can build. If you or anybody you know, is looking for an exciting next chapter within the housing sector, then please do get in touch. Again, this will be between £55,000 - £60,000 p/a package
