Senior Site Manager Cambridge £300-£400 per day Our client is a reputable construction company specialising in sports facilities, is seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead the delivery of rugby and football pitch construction projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of projects, meeting high standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities: Project Leadership: Lead the construction of rugby and football pitches, overseeing all aspects from planning to completion. Team Management: Manage and coordinate on-site construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project objectives are met. Quality Control: Implement and maintain rigorous quality control measures, ensuring pitches meet industry standards and client specifications. Health and Safety: Enforce health and safety regulations on site, promoting a safe working environment. Hold regular toolbox talks and safety meetings. Client Communication: Maintain effective communication with clients, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns. Budget and Schedule Management: Monitor project budgets, costs, and schedules, taking proactive measures to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Requirements: Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager in sports pitch construction. SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification. First Aid certification. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. In-depth knowledge of construction processes related to sports pitch construction.
