Job Title: Quantity Surveyor Location: Flimby, Cumbria Our client is a leading construction company with expertise in building, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, and bespoke joinery. They deliver high-quality projects in sectors like commercial, education, healthcare, highways, and industrial, with contracts ranging from £100k to £25M. Key Responsibilities: Provide cost estimates for diverse projects (e.g., civil engineering, mechanical). Manage project budgets, contracts, and procurement. Monitor financial progress and ensure compliance with contract terms. Collaborate with project teams on cost-saving strategies. Qualifications: Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent. Strong knowledge of NEC, JCT contracts. Excellent financial management and negotiation skills. Start as soon as possible, work is flexible where you can work from home as well.
