Site Construction Manager F J Booth Construction Ltd Location: Guisborough (TS14) Salary: Negotiable Job Type: Full Time Job Description We are looking to employ a suitably qualified Site Construction Manager to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for effectively motivating, supporting and managing the site-based team to ensure that the required health, safety and environmental performance standards are achieved. They will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the Company's health and safety and environmental policies and procedures Monitor progress of the build programme to ensure construction methods and timescales are met and take corrective action to bring progress back in line Agree and manage the equipment, plant, staffing and sub-contract requirements for the site Work with the office to respond to all queries from trades and action accordingly Work with the office to manage the recruitment and induction of new employees in line with Company best practice guide Applicants Requires a strong background in a site construction environment, this includes effective manpower management, client facing meetings, planning and programming challenges. Relevant qualifications including va lid SMSTS certificate, full UK Driving Licence, CSCS card at Site Manager level or equivalent, BTEC diploma in Building Construction or NVQ Level 3 or 4 or similar Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a site manager with the ability to chair and run meetings. Proven track record of motivating staff and managing a site effectively Up to date knowledge of health and safety obligations and building legislation Experience with preparation of all health and safety paperwork.
