We are looking for a Construction Estimator to join a Principle Contractor based near Reading. They are increasingly winning multi-disciplinary projects direct from clients, and as a result they are keen to recruit an experienced Construction Estimator. Projects are typically located across Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire, Wiltshire and Buckinghamshire and are in the Light Industrial, Commercial, NHS and Defence sectors with Project Values ranging from £250k up to £10 million. The successful candidate will be engaging with specialist subcontractors, pulling together costs and reviewing submissions for Interiors & Construction packages. A varied an interesting role, the successful candidate will be an experienced construction estimator – capable of take-offs, package preparation, normalisation, and recommendation. With a main contracting background, they will have several years of relevant experience to include cut and carve, civils, structural, envelope and refurb project experience With the flexibility to work 3-4 days from home & great long term career prospects the role comes with a basic salary of £60k-£90k ( DOE) £6,000 p/a car allowance; or option for EV salary sacrifice company car scheme, annual bonus (10% of salary, which is measured on company and personal performance) . 4% employers pension contribution, BUPA Health Care Cover (subject to acceptance) 25 days p/a (including Xmas shutdown) annual leave, plus public and bank holidays
